With its gilded interior, similar to casino and beach location, this $ 1.3 million ranking embodies Atlantic City.
The four -bedroom ranking, first reported by Nj.com, is located in the lower Chelsea neighborhood of Atlantic City.
The address is just steps from the beach and a short car in the famous city casino district. The property was built in 1920, during the Atlantic City’s “Boardwalk Empire” era, driven by prosperity and ban.
With its green roof of the villa and the outside of the mortar, the house extracts the Mediterranean paste. Only a small part of the Atlantic City’s historical assets hold the exterior of the house, and even less boast of a loving, interior -based interior.
While the house is just blocks from the sandy beach, its 4,250 square meters interior is swed in a bold golden style directly from the gilded era.
“In so many rooms, you have these beautiful, marble -decorated hearths that just feel like you are everywhere in Europe,” said BhHS Fox & Roach Margate’s Todd Gordon agent.
A marble lobby with a curved ladder opens into a living room with ornate ceilings, a marble fireplace and a great gold accent. Large windows include the first floor, with ceiling formations above and flowers patterned with hard wood below.
French doors connect the spaces downstairs, including a dining room and an office of wooden boards.
“Feels like you are in ‘Boardwalk Empire,’” Gordon added.
Three bedrooms above include a primary bedroom with a sitting area and an outdoor deck overlooking the ocean. On the third floor is a spacious suite of guests with a bedroom, a bathroom, a living room and a kitchen annex.
The most unusual feature of the shock house is located at the base, where there is a large, currently non-explored pool. A basement pool is a rarity for a house so close to the beach.
Gordon told The Post that this is his second time to sell historical property. The house last changed its hands in 2020 for $ 575,000, according to Atlantic District data.
The former owner was dedicated to the restoration of the house, Gordon said and went so far as to install new windows and doors to match the original gilded style of the house.
“Just just a very eternal special home,” Gordon said. “It takes a unique buyer that really appreciates a home that is returning from the 1920s.”
