An attractive dome house is in the market in Kalamazoo, Michigan, outside $ 1.9 million.
Recently listed in the eclectic city attracted reactions intensely online after separating from the social media account Zillow Gone Wild, with commentators differently comparing the nest of a waters, an egg cardboard and even ripe goods.

The story behind the monolithic cubes is almost as unexpected as its external. List agent Fred Taper, from Jaqua Realtors, told The Post about the origin of the house around 1977.
While Kalamazoo boasts an impressive group of Deco art and modernist design residents from famous architects like Frank Lloyd Wright and Norman Carver Jr., this house is in a league of its own.
“What makes this even better is this is not designed by any famous architect, or even a distance -known architect,” Taber said.
Instead, the spherical settlement was created by an Orthodontist named Dr. Luther Bruce, with this help of an architect friend.
The list of $ 1.9 million advertises “intimacy, energy efficiency and eternal style”. Its stone, plaster and wooden interior include more than 6,000 square meters.
Despite her wooded location, the house can be viewed by passers -by, Taber said, making it a local celebrity.
“People can see it on the street, and because it’s so unique, they get a lot of people just pulling into the street to take pictures,” he said.

Current owners, Taber said, took place in 1991 and undertook widespread and abroad. The updates included new decks, extra soil and a special metal roof to protect the cement and foam facade. The roof was custom made in Texas, Taber said and cost the owners more than $ 400,000.
