Los Angeles music industry’s wealth, Titan Quincy Jones, has been launched for just less than $ 60 million, five months after his death at the age of 91, according to a press release from her ranking.
Captured in a locked promontory in the lower neighborhood Bel Air, the 2nd complex had served as Jones’ main residence since 2002.
Grammy’s 28-time winner won the land in 1972 for $ 200,000, then worked with a high school friend and architect to build a personalized property decades later, according to Wall Street Journal, who first reported on the list.
“My father loved his home so much,” said actress and director Rashida Jones, one of his daughters, in a state of press release. “He created him from the earth with his boundless imagination and talent of his high school friend, legendary architect Jerry Allison.”
Including nearly 25,000 square meters, the house includes five bedrooms and 17 bathrooms in three interconnected wings, accessible your stairs and one elevator.
A circular living room with an arched cube ceiling serves as the central center of the settlement.
Other features include a summer room, a test area, a playroom and numerous grass configurations.
The primary suite offers a private balcony, a gym, a large den and the wing closet, while West Wing contains invited neighborhoods, a record studio, a show room and a gallery.
Outside, the bases have a lit tennis field, an infinite pool with a bath, and Varanda Verandas and terraces oriented towards the panoramic views of the city’s horizon, the mountains and the Pacific Ocean.
Jones, a native of Agoikagos, was famous as a jazz trumpet before becoming one of the most influential manufacturers of the 20th century.
His long decade career included hits on top of tables such as “It ‘my it parties” and the hymn of charity studied with stars “we are the world”. He also produced Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”, the best -selling album of all time.
“Our family has a wonderful value of wonderful memories and means embedded in this house,” Jones said.
“Hopefully the new owner will continue the legacy of love and laughter and beautiful that is synonymous with the name Quincy Jones.”
The ranking is held by David Kramer and Andrew Buss of the David Kramer group in Compass.
