Exclusive | A famous crime god grew up in this brooklyn city house – which now requires $ 6.25 million for sale

This house can talk to you.

In Brooklyn’s coveted park, a city historic home in 38 Garfield Place has emerged from a meticulous renovation to market for $ 6.25 million. And comes with a true crowd story.

The five-storey settlement was once home to the infamous gangster to capture in his new years, the post has learned.

Capone, born in Brooklyn in 1899, moved to this apartment with his family in the 1880s when he was 11 years old, remaining there until the early 20s.

“He was born on the Navy Street and then the family needed more space,” Nadia Bartolucci from Douglas Elliman said. “So they then moved to the slope park … and the family owned the house for decades.”

The next crime lord, later called “Public Enemik No. 1”, lived here until 1919, when he moved to Agoikago – where he builds a criminal empire through bootlegging, prostitution and gambling.

Pensed on tax evasion in 1931, Capone suffered eight years in prison and died in 1947 at the age of 48.

The property, redeveloped by Minerva, a real estate development firm, underwent a dramatic transformation from what Bartolucci described as a “uninhabited” state in a masterpiece of 4,000 plus-plus-wearing.

The Capone family’s mandate at 38 Garfield Place was followed by a single owner until Minerva bought it in February 2024.

“When the house was won, it required a complete remodeling, a complete renovation,” Bartolucci told the post. “They made a full giving away and turned it into a thin city … Triple-Minint Townhouse and is beautiful.”
